The New Orleans District Attorney's office has handed down indictments of two women accused of killing their infant children in two separate and unconnected incidents.
Angelyc Seely, transient from Detroit, is accused of killing her baby boy in a bicycle kid carrier.
Seely is alleged to have stabbed her child to death in the carrier near the intersection with Columbus and Broad in July.
Meanwhile, 32-year old Loretta Norman is alleged to have beaten to death her infant girl in May.
At the time of the death Norman was wanted on warrant of domestic abuse against the girl's father.
The New Orleans Public Defender is representing both women.
