New Orleans Police say bullets were flying in the French Quarter just after midnight.
"Victims heard gunshots and both sustained gunshot wounds,"
according to an initial police report.
One victim was transported to the hospital and other was treated on scene.
The women are 54 and 28 years old.
It happened at 12:13am in the 500 block of Bourbon St.
The only suspect information in the report says, "Unknown black male."
No further details were released.
