Two separate overnight shootings in New Orleans have left two people in the hospital.
The first shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Allen Street near North Tonti in the Seventh Ward. According to an New Orleans Poice Department spokesperson, a man suffered a leg wound in that incident.
The second shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. Sunday on Oliver White Avenue near Treasure Street in the Upper Ninth Ward. The NOPD spokesperson says the victim suffered at least one body wound. However, the spokesperson did not have any information about the victim's age or gender. An EMS crew treated the victim at the scene.
The victims' conditions were not disclosed.
