In New Orleans overnight there were no fewer than four shootings, including one on Canal and Burgundy around 1:30am that left two people injured.
An earlier incident on Canal and Dauphine took place around 11pm, when a 15 year old girl was stabbed in the leg.
New Orleans East had two shootings, one on Pentlan Drive where an adult woman was shot. And a man was shot on Read Boulevard.
It is not known if the incidents are related.
A man brought himself to a hospital with a gunshot wound.
NOPD was unable to determine where he was shot.

Friday into Saturday, Two homicides, both in New Orleans East, have kicked off the weekend.
New Orleans Police responded to the first last night just after 11pm.
Officers found two men on Dinkens Street near Meyn who both had been shot.
Both were transported to a hospital where one of the two died.
Then later on Saturday morning, at Read Blvd and the I-10 a woman was found with multiple gun shot wounds.
She was transported to a hospital where she later died.
