New Orleans Police say one person is dead and two wounded after Christmas Eve violence in the city.
"Victim found deceased inside trunk of vehicle with apparent gunshot wound," an initial police report indicated about a murder reported along the I-10.
Just before 10:30pm officers responded to Basinview Dr. and South I-10 Service Rd.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Cops have not released further information.
Earlier police were called to Symmes Ave. and Irby St.
Just after 2:30pm they got a call of shots fired.
""Victims walking when approached by suspects, who fired at victims. Both victims sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital via private conveyance."
The victims are described as a 15-year-old and 16-year-old juvenile male.
The initial report describes the suspects as "three to four unknown black males."
