The NOPD is investigating two Saturday shootings. One happened in the 1600 block of North Claiborne Avenue.
"Initial reports show a man sustained a gunshot wound," according to an email from the public information officer.
The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
"The initial call was made at 9:35 P.M."
about six hour earlier, someone shot at two people in the 22-hundred block of Toldeano Street.
"Victim #1 and Victim #2 were walking when the Known Suspect shot at both victims multiple times," an initial police report states.
One of the two was shot in the leg.
"Victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition."
Police have not released further details.
These shootings come in the wake of a very violent week in New Orleans that was filled with shootings and murders.
