WATCH: Tulane med students get engaged at Muses

It's gotta be the shoes.

When the Krewe of Muses rolled through the streets of New Orleans last night, one woman went home with the best souvenir imaginable. And she didn’t catch it from a float.

Danielle Krakosky, a student at the Tulane University School of Medicine, got an assist from Ragan Gankendorff, the school’s executive director of health system clinical affairs and a member of Muses, and arranged for a very special version of the Krewe’s signature throw: a glittery shoe bedazzled with the words “Marry Me, Carrie?”

Then, in front of their family and friends, she presented the specially-crafted keepsake to her girlfriend Carrie Crook, who she met in the school’s anatomy lab, according to a Tulane Medical School news release.

And spoiler alert: Crook said yes.
