Yes a flood watch is in effect for the region as the latest front is bringing a good amount of rain to the area.

Showers and t-storms are expected to expand across the area through the day and into tonight.

It won’t rain continuously over the next 24 hours, but some areas will see heavy downpours enough to lead to street flooding.

At least two rounds of showers and thunderstorms are on the way.

One during the afternoon and the other at night.

Most will see between 1-3 inches of rain, but a few spots could see over 4 inches.

But Saturday afternoon will see highs in 70s with only a few showers still hanging around.
