Jefferson Parish fire fighters are on the scene of a fire, which shut down part of Barataria Boulevard Thursday morning.
According to Jefferson Parish spokesperson Gretchen Hirt, the fire happened at a vacant school in the 2300 block of Barataria Boulevard. Emergency crews shut down Barataria Blvd south of Ehret Road.
Firefighters have the fire under control. No reports of any injures.
