Hurricane Ida has hit the top ten for costliest storms on record and secured itself at number 5.
The National Center for Environmental Information tabs all 10 of the most costly storms as having occurred in the last 20-years.
The current figure for damage wrecked by Ida stands at $75-Billion—less than Hurricane Sandy, more than Hurricane Irma.
The list puts Louisiana as having been hit by three storms, tying with Florida. Texas has two, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Puerto Rico and New Jersey round out the list.
According to the report, many states were hit by the same storm.
