New Orleans Police say gunfire sent two people to the ER.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting in the 1700 block of Elysian Fields Avenue," Senior Public Information Officer Aaron Looney said in a news release.
It happened shortly after 11:00pm.
"Initial information shows two gunshot wound victims – one male and one female – have been transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment of injuries."
Looney did now share information about their conditions nor any suspects.
"No additional information is currently available."
