A Georgia woman told staff at the Florida hotel where she was staying that she was directed by God to fire bullets at strangers Monday because of the solar eclipse.

Taylon Nichelle Celestine, 22, allegedly proceeded to shoot two drivers on Interstate 10, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Authorities say Celestine shot one driver in the neck and grazed another on the arm as she fired into two vehicles.

The department shared that Celestine was driving a purple Dodge Challenger with Georgia plates when she shot into the vehicles.

Celestine had an AR-15 rifle and a 9mm handgun in her possession when she was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol.

She’s been charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and improper discharge of a firearm.

The investigation into the situation is ongoing at this time.
