Jefferson Parish Sheriffs are investigating a shooting that ultimately took the life of a woman.
Investigators determined the shooting took place in Harvey around 11pm last night. Deputies reported the victim was transported to the hospital in a private car before she died.
JPSO reports they believe the shooting occurred on the 2300 block of Rochelle near the intersection with 11th Street.
The Sheriff’s Office is tight lipped about the incident, not releasing much information until their investigation is further along.
