The Louisiana Attorney General's office announced the arrest of a 25-year-old woman for alleged animal sex abuse and child pornography.

"AG Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrests Braithwaite woman for Child Sexual Abuse Materials and Sexual Abuse of an Animal," according to a news release.

Attorney General Liz Murrill described the charges against the woman as "disturbing."

Police took Sarah Hannah Latapie into custody yesterday.

She faces 22 counts under the Child Sexual Abuse Material statute.  Authorities say the victims are under the age of thirteen.
She is also charged under the Sexual Abuse of an Animal law.

"This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit and the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office."

It started with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

"These types of cases are always disturbing for our LBI agents. I'd like to thank them for their dedication to getting justice for victims, along with deputies from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office for helping us out on this case," Attorney General Liz Murrill said in a news release.
