For the second time in less than a week a driver on I-10 has been shot at. This time it was a woman driving near Louisa Street on I-10 eastbound around 8pm Sunday night.
WWL-TV reports the woman told police a vehicle swerved around her and a passenger in the vehicle began firing shots at her.
The woman was struck by the gunfire and taken to a local hospital by EMS.
A 15-year old driver was shot last Thursday near the St.
Bernard offramp. He made his way to the 1700 block of St. Bernard and was later pronounced dead of his injuries by EMS.
NOPD is actively searching for a suspect vehicle, a white Honda Accord in connection with that shooting.
If you have any information about his shooting or the latest incident, you are urged to contact Crimestoppers.
