New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide in New Orleans East. A woman was reported shot in the 4700 block of Francis Street shortly after noon Friday.
Police say paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Earlier in the morning, police were called to a double-shooting in Algiers. Officer says the two victims, a man and a woman, were wounded in the lower body by gunfire in the 900 block of Belleville Street.
