Cops are asking for help finding a woman after she came to New Orleans, but didn't return home.
"The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an adult female reported to be missing," New Orleans Police said in a news release.
Investigators say they got a call from someone that they spoke with Katherine Mercurio on March 31st, but had not heard from her since.
"She was staying at a hotel in the 900 block of Saint Charles Avenue. Mercurio was scheduled to take an Amtrak train back to Arizona. However, her ticket was never scanned to show that she boarded the train."
Police have not been able to locate the 43-year-old woman.
"Mercurio is described as standing approximately 5’5” and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She is further described as having hazel eyes, short black hair, multiple tattoos and gauged earlobes."
