Police are looking for a killer after an overnight shooting the Seabrook neighborhood.
"The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 7800 block of Wales Street," Public Relations Specialist Kaitlin Rust Landry said in an email.
She advised that cops showed up to find a woman dead.
"An adult female gunshot wound victim was declared deceased on scene."
She says the call came in just after 11:00pm.
About three hours later, she said NOPD had deployed a drone in the area, but did not offer an more information.
