LSU’s own Olivia Dunne was the subject of a new behind-the-scenes post from Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, giving her army of fans something new to enjoy.
The video was shared on the SI Swimsuit Instagram page last week, showing off more of Dunne’s debut photo shoot for the iconic publication.
The shoot, which took place in Puerto Rico this January, was a big step for Dunne, a star gymnast at LSU and the NCAA’s highest-earning female athlete.
Dunne can be seen in the video wearing several different swimsuits and striking poses for the publication.
Since Thursday, the video has quickly become one of the most-liked posts for the account, garnering more than 11,000 likes as of Sunday.
The support for Dunne is no surprise, as she has amassed more than 11 million followers across her social media platforms, most notably TikTok and Instagram.
The 20-year-old shared with SI Swimsuit that she hopes to inspire her younger followers to chase their dreams.
“I want to show young girls that you can have it all, and you don’t need to choose between whatever it is you’re passionate about,” she said. “You can be passionate about music, art. You don’t need to pick and choose. You can do it all and be successful. I think you need to set your own expectations for success and dream big.”
Dunne is entering her senior year at LSU, and it is uncertain what the future holds for the stand-out female athlete after the upcoming gymnastics season wraps up.
