LSU will soon be able to pack fans into Alex Box Stadium. The university announced it is going to allow full capacity at outdoor sporting events. Masks will no longer be required.
The first event under the new policy will be Friday night at the Box when LSU Baseball hosts top-ranked Arkansas.
"We are excited about the opportunity to welcome our fans back in full force this weekend," said Director of Athletics Scott Woodward. "This move is another positive step for us a campus and community. I want to thank our fans that have patiently waited and abided by the protocols we had in place since our return to competition in the fall. It's going to be a great sight to see our fans pack Alex Box Stadium, Tiger Park and Bernie Moore this weekend."
Alex Box stadium has a capacity of more than 10,000.
