Louisiana has surpassed 1,000 COVID patients in the hospital again with 45 more reported today.
It is the first time in three months Louisiana hospitals have had this large a coronavirus patient count.
There were nearly 1,000 more Louisiana COVID positive tests tallied today as well... as the surge continues.
The state also reported 24 more deaths today.
