No doubt the world is a scary place right now, but at least we’re not living in Pinson, Alabama right now.

Area residents have something else to look out for these days, a real-life “Chucky” roaming the neighborhoods.

We all remember Chucky, right?

Well, he’s come to life in the form of a 5-year-old named Jackson who’s dressing up as the iconic horror character to try and scare cars passing by.

Kendra Walden, a Pinson resident who saw Jackson in action wrote on Facebook, “Dear Parents of the little boy in the chucky costume in Pinson.  GET YOUR KID.… I almost had a heart attack.”

Jackson’s mom Britnee Reed told WDHN that Jackson was Chucky last Halloween, and often wears his costume around the house and community.
