CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A case of a missing black cat from a magick store continued to be shrouded in mystery as many celebrated Halloween Sunday.
Named after the Adult Swim show "Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil,” Lucy the cat was adopted on the day before Halloween eight years ago.
Since then, Lucy's been the shop cat at Alchemy Arts occult and metaphysical bookstore in Edgewater, where she's lived her life among the crystals and incense. She's mostly black with a white belly and socks. And she's been missing since Wednesday night.
"She is a black cat and it is Halloween...I know some people do tricks and rituals sometimes...we're really expecting anything at this point,” store manager Dayna Garcia told WBBM Newsradio. "The baby just needs to come home."

The game shop next to Alchemy Arts was broken into the same night Lucy went missing, and Garcia said some decorations in the front of the store were knocked over, but it's unclear if the events are related.
Anyone with information about Lucy's whereabouts is encouraged to call Alchemy Arts at (773) 769-4970 so she can return home.
