
According to report, controversial former kickboxer and media personality Andrew Tate has been taken into custody for sex-trafficking allegations.
The New York Post reports that a media outlet in Romania says that Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in the country on kidnapping and rape charges.
The Daily Mail reports that the two brother reportedly had two young woman in a room against their will in April. The women reportedly experienced “physical violence and mental coercion.”
Tate and his brother were questioned for five hours before being released.
Authorities believe that the brothers former a group that “sexually exploited by group members by forcing them to perform pornographic demonstrations pornographic for the purpose of producing and disseminating through social media platforms.”
Tate is known for his many misogynistic views, appearing on far right shows like "Info Wars" with embattled host Alex Jones.
He’s been banned from several social media platforms for his content but was reinstated to Twitter after Elon Musk took over.
His videos and posts have amassed millions of views.
He recently tweeted at climate activist 19-year-old Greta Thunberg, boasting about how much emissions his vehicles put into the atmosphere.
Thunberg replied with a shot of her own.
Tate's location was reportedly discovered because he recorded a response video to Thunberg and a pizza box helped identify where he was.
