You'll have to reach a little deeper into your wallet if you want to visit "The Happiest Place on Earth."
The Walt Disney Co. announced that effectively immediately, some prices will be going up at their Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks, according to multiple reports.
"We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions and entertainment to our parks and, with our broad array of pricing options, the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer," a Disney spokesperson said in a statement.
At Walt Disney World in Florida, the cost of parking has increased by $5 to $30 per day. Parking remains free for guests staying at Disney's resort hotels.
Disney World annual passes have also increased: The "Incredi-Pass" is up by $50 to $1,449; the "Sorcerer Pass" is up $30 to $999; the "Pirate Pass" went up $50 to $799; and the "Pixie Pass" increased by $40 to $439.
Date-based tickets will stay the same at $109 per day for Disney World.
Meantime, visitors of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will see higher prices on nearly every ticket and parking option.
The parks use a tiered pricing system depending on the date: The cheapest single-day, one-park tickets will see no increase and remain at $104 per day; Tier 1 and 2 are both up $5 to $119 and $134 per day; Tier 3 and 4 and both up $10 to $154 and $169 per day; and Tier 5 and 6 are up $15 to $184 and $194 per day.
The increase also applies to multi-day tickets at the California parks: a two-day ticket is up $25 to $310; a three-day ticket is up $30 to $390; a four-day ticket is up $50 to $445; and a five-day ticket is up $65 to $480.
Disneyland Park Hopper add-on prices are also going up. While there's no change in price for the one-day Park Hopper (remaining at $65), a two-day option is up $5 to $65, the three- and four-day options are both up $10 to $70, and the five-day option is up $15 to $75.
For annual passes at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure: the "Inspire Magic Key" is up $50 to $1,649; the "Believe Magic Key" and "Enchant Magic Key" are both up $150 to $1,249 and $849; and the "Imagine Magic Key" is up $50 to $499.
Parking is also going to cost you more, roughly $5 more for every option -- including hotel parking. At the parks, standard parking is now $35 and premium parking is $55.
The price increases come as The Walt Disney Co. is investing $60 billion into its theme parks.
