Former President Donald Trump has always boasted about his love for his followers. On Friday, he seemed to show his appreciation, offering some of his supporters a slice of pizza he had already eaten from.
Trump was enjoying a meal at Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers, Florida, last week when he was caught on camera offering a supporter a piece of pizza he was eating from.
The video of the interaction was posted on Twitter and shows the former president holding his dinner while the crowd chants his name.
“Does anybody want a piece that I’ve eaten?” Trump asked the crowd.
“No,” the crowd responded in unison after thinking about the offer.
After taking a pause, the former president began to chuckle at the crowd’s response. Trump continued to enjoy his meal, all while holding a slice in one hand and the open box in the other.
Trump then appears to be reaching for a new slice to hand out to the crowd as the video cuts off.
While SNL loved to mock former President Bill Clinton for his love of McDonald’s, former President Trump loves fast food, and pizza, just as much. In 1995, the then-businessman was even in an ad for Pizza Hut.
Trump stopped at the pizza shop after giving a speech at the Lee County GOP’s 2023 Lincoln-Reagan Dinner.
