A fight between electricians led to a bloody outcome when one of them fatally beat three of his coworkers after punching his boss in the face, according to reports.

Shaun Runyon, an electrician working for a Pennsylvania-based company building a new grocery store in Davenport, Florida, was arguing with his boss at the job site when things got physical and Runyon struck his superior, authorities said.

After the fight, he ran away from the scene, returning to the house he was sharing with his colleagues while working in Florida. Once he arrived at the house, things got bloody, according to the Polk County Sheriff.

Seven people were inside the residence, and Runyon, 39, was able to beat and stab three of them, Sheriff Grady Judd said on Saturday during a press conference.

On one of the victims, Runyon used a baseball bat and a knife to beat one person to death as they slept.

When police arrived, they reported finding one of them dead on the porch, Judd said. A third critically wounded person died later on Saturday, police said.

Runyon was arrested, and he allegedly confessed to the beatings, according to police. However, police are still investigating the situation as they are unaware of what sparked the killing spree, as he knew everyone in the home.

“We have no idea what outraged him so bad that more than 24 hours later that he would come back and make an attempt to kill every one of them,” Judd said.
