Get ready to have those older folks in your life send you some new emojis, and for the older folks, get ready to have more emojis in your arsenal, as new emojis have arrived with the iOS 15.4 beta.

Among the new emojis available are a melting face, pregnant man, multi-racial handshakes, biting lips, and a disco ball.

The new smiley emojis in the iOS 15.4 beta, seven in total, is the largest new addition since the 2017 iOS 11.1 update.

The yellow faces which will soon be available for all to text include the melting face, a face peeking through its fingers, a saluting face, a dotted line face, a diagonal mouth face, a face with its eyes open and a hand over its mouth, and a face on the brink of crying.

Seven new hand gestures will also be a part of the update, including rightward and leftward hands, palm up and down hands, index pointing at the viewer, hands making a heart, and hand with index finger and thumb crossed.

There will also be 25 new handshake combinations, allowing for different types of multi-racial emojis for the gesture.

As for other new emojis, there is now an option for three different genders, man, woman, and a gender-neutral person. In addition, the iOS beta will also have the option for a pregnant person, a person with a crown, and a pregnant man.

Highlights from the new batch of emojis outside of the yellow faces include an empty bird nest, a playground slide, an x-ray, a low battery, and a crutch.

Those who don’t want to download the beta software onto their device will get access to the new emojis when the update comes later this spring, according to emojipedia.

There is no release date set in stone, but based on Apple’s history and past patterns, it will likely come in March or April 2022.
