What do you feel guilty about spending money on?
For some people it’s trips to the hair salon, for others it’s Uber rides or holiday decorations. This week on Audacy’s podcast “It’s Generational” a multi-generational panel takes on a big topic: money.
Host Lauren Barry is joined by four guests: Susan Messing, a young baby boomer, improv comedian and teacher; Gen X news anchor Steve Chiotakis; millennial multimedia producer Mallory Somera and Gloria Oladipo, a Gen Z reporter and playwright. David and John, known on social media as the Debt Free Guys, also joined the show to offer expert insight.
They’ll dive into how – whether we like it or not – money is a factor in many of the decisions we make, so much so that we can feel guilt over even little purchases. For Susan, it’s trips to the hair salon, for Gloria, it’s Uber rides.
“For us, it's a nice glass of wine, right?” said the Debt Free Guys, who joined the show for some expert insight. “So, we maybe we dropped $20 on this particular bottle or $25 on this particular bottle. We’re not doing that every single day and we're not having three or four glasses of wine every single day.”
