Firefighters in Florida battled a 5-acre blaze near Walt Disney World for hours Thursday. Fire marshals are now investigating the case, according to Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS.

It all started during the morning hours at Nursery Supplies, Inc. on Avenue A in Intercession City, Fla., which is located near Kissimmee, Fla., and around a 13-mile drive from Walt Disney World.

Initial reports said that than two acres worth of pallets holding plastic planters were involved in the fire. Crews were establishing air monitoring devices at around 11 a.m. Hazmat and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection were also at the scene, along with other local fire departments.

Altogether, 75 firefighters and 21 vehicles were working to put out the flames Thursday afternoon.

Fox 35 Orlando reported that the fire eventually grew to encompass nearly 5 acres. Deputy Chief Jon Haskett with Osceola County Fire said that the fire was probably caused by a propone tank explosion inside the fire area, according to the outlet.

“There’s quite a large mess of melted plastic, etc.,” said the Osceola County department, which shared videos of the effort to put the fire out, as well as the cleanup effort.

“The Nursery Supplies, Inc. fire is officially contained! Mop-up operations continue,” said a Facebook post from Osceola County Fire Rescue at around 5 p.m. Thursday. At around 2:50 p.m., the was 100% contained.

“The safety of our team members and our neighbors in the nearby community are our top priority and concern. We are thankful that the team in the plant at the time the fire started was quickly evacuated, and there have been no reported injuries,” said a statement that Nursery Supplies provided to Fox 35. “The plant has been fully evacuated while fire control activities continue, and team members are being advised not to come to work. We are cooperating fully with the authorities who are on site managing and investigating the situation and are thankful to them for their quick response.”
