When Hurricane Nicole hit Florida’s Atlantic coast earlier this month, it caused beach erosion that has uncovered a mysterious structure in Volusia County.
The objects can be seen sticking out of the sand on Daytona Beach Shores, and images of the objects were shared with WFTV.
In the photos, what appears to be wood can be seen sticking out of the sand in even intervals in two lines.
In order to discover what the debris is, Volusia County officials shared with WFTV that they will undergo testing in order to find out.
Hurricane Nicole took a heavy toll in the area, with officials estimating more than $522 million in damages across the county.
