Their season was left for dead after they started the year 1-3, but just in time for the spookiest day of the year, the Cincinnati Bengals are back from the dead.

And perhaps it was his pregame attire that had Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow handing out tricks to the San Francisco defense and treats to his teammates on offense Sunday.

Burrow was unrecognizable getting off the bus in a NASA sweatshirt and an alien mask, but once he hit the field, it was his play that was otherworldly.

Joey Franchise completed 28 of 32 passes for 283 yards and tossed 3 touchdowns on the afternoon to lead the Bengals past the 49ers 31-17 in a win that most certainly wouldn't have prognosticated just one short month ago.

Now Burrow has Cincinnati above .500 for the first time this season at 4-3, just in time for a Sunday night showdown at home against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Kickoff for that game is set for 7:20pm Sunday night on WWL Radio.
