A 24-year-old man is expected in court next month to face charges related to his alleged rape of a mother who was feeding her child in Shelby Park of Nashville, Tenn.
According to records from the Howard Gentry Criminal Court Clerk, Ryean L. Floyd was arrested May 26 and charged with aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping. He is due in court June 12 and his bond is set at $15,000.
“Floyd, the victim and her child met at Nashville’s Shelby Park on Thursday after previously agreeing to meet up, according to an arrest report,” as reported by WSMV. “They spent some time together, but after a while, the woman decided it was time to take her child home.”
As the woman began to feed her child in the backseat of a car, Floyd allegedly lifted up her skirt and “forcibly raped her” according to the report. It said there is a recording of the incident where she can be heard begging him stop. Her child can also be heard crying.
She was later taken to Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital for medical attention, WSMV said.
