Man charged with tattooing a child inside McDonald’s

Police arrested a man in South Carolina who was spotted on video tattooing a child inside a McDonald’s restaurant, WYFF reported.

“He looked pretty comfortable,” Laurens, S.C. police chief Chrissie Latimore said of the man charged. “It was an absolutely disgusting display.”

Authorities charged 28-year-old Brandon Presha of Laurens with illegal and underage tattooing. A judge set bond at $25,000, police said.

It is unclear how old the juvenile seen getting the tattoo inside the fast-food restaurant was or whether Presha had used McDonald’s like a tattoo parlor before.

Officials from South Carolina’s Department of Health and Environmental Control said they launched a state investigation into whether the incident violated safety or environmental laws.

Owners of the McDonald’s -- who recently remodeled and reopened -- released a statement.

“The conduct reported is not in line with the values of our organization or in line with our expectations for how restaurants should be run,” the statement read. “We are investigating the incident and will take appropriate action to ensure that my restaurant is both a safe place for my employees to work and for my customers to enjoy.”
