Nikki Haley writes ‘finish them’ on Israeli bomb

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) decided to write a note on a bomb being used by Israeli Defense Forces on Monday while visiting the Israel-Gaza border.

The note from Haley reads, “Finish them! America [loves] Israel always,” and was written on a 155 mm high explosive projectile.

The image of Haley signing the ammunition was shared on social media Tuesday by Danny Danon, a member of Israel’s government who was with her on her trip.

“This is what my friend, the former ambassador, Nikki Haley, wrote today on a shell during a visit to an artillery post on the northern border,” Dannon wrote.

Another post from Stand for America PAC, the group that was backing Haley’s 2024 presidential campaign, said that the shell was “intended for Hamas.”

During her Memorial Day weekend visit, Haley said that she met with survivors of the Hamas Oct. 7, 2023, attack. She also said that she assured those she met with that the US stands in support of the country.

“Like my daughter, Tali Biner is a nurse in her 20s who loves music and her friends,” Haley wrote on X. “But, her life changed forever at the Nova Music Festival. For hours she hid, praying not to be next, listening to fellow concert goers beg for mercy as they were raped, genitally mutilated, and shot to death by Hamas. When she escaped, she tried to treat victims who were butchered and left to slowly die.”

Haley said that the young woman is now sharing her story for the “hundreds who can’t — raped, tortured, kidnapped, and murdered simply for being Israeli.”

On Sunday, Israel moved forward with an airstrike in Rafah that resulted in the death of at least 45 people, including some sheltering in an encampment.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that the civilian casualties were a “tragic mistake” and that it was under investigation.

Last week, Haley, who dropped out of the GOP primary race in March, said that she would vote for former President Donald Trump instead of Biden.

This soft endorsement came after Haley had denounced Trump and said she wouldn’t back him outright until he won over her and those he’s turned against himself.

However, Trump has since said that he thinks Haley will be “on our team in some form.”
