CENTEREACH, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Long Island-based social media prankster who allegedly poured eggs and beans on himself at businesses and recorded the inside of people’s homes without their permission was arrested by police, who say the stunts broke the law.
Kyle Vazquez, 21, was charged with dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image, unlawful surveillance, and criminal tampering in connection with incidents in Centereach and Selden in April and May.
He was arrested at the home of a friend in Centereach at 8:20 p.m. Monday. He was arraigned Tuesday and pleaded not guilty.
As Vazquez walked out of court, he flipped off 1010 WINS reporter Sophia Hall and tried to exit through an emergency door before he was yelled at by officers.
According to officials, on April 29, Vazquez dumped a large container of eggs on his head in front of the entrance to Ralph’s Italian Ices in Centereach then fled the scene in a car, leaving eggs and broken shells on the entranceway and front door to the business.
The incident was recorded and uploaded to Vazquez’ social media account, police said.

Detectives determined that Vazquez had recorded and uploaded footage to social media involving other victims at other locations.
Among them was Wing Wah restaurant in Centereach, where at 8:45 p.m. on April 30 he allegedly entered and poured a bucket of beans over his head and onto the floor. Surveillance video captured the incident.

Police also allege that at three separate residences—two in Centereach and one in Selden—between May 19 and May 24, he requested to use the bathroom and then filmed the residents and the inside of their homes without their knowledge or consent while creating a disturbance.
