Authorities described Sims—who friends know as "Cookie"—as just over 5-feet tall, weighing 120 pounds with shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes. A tattoo on her left collarbone reads, "It's found in the soul." Other tattoos include "Earth: on her left forearm and unspecified "Spanish writing" on her back, according to a sheriff’s department advisory posted to Facebook on Monday.

Sims' sister, Ca'rynn, also an influencer residing in L.A. County, posted about her sibling’s strange disappearance on Instagram Tuesday. Ca'Shawn "abandoned her home, her dog, and seemingly her phone" which was "unlike her," Ca'rynn said.

Actress Keke Palmer also pleaded for help finding Sims, saying she and the family were "at a loss as to what to do."

"I can't believe I'm making a post like this about [Ca'shawn]!" Palmer posted to Instagram on Monday. "I just want to get the word out there as all her family and friends and I are truly getting worried. It has been practically a month since any of us have seen her, we just want to know that she's safe."

The sheriff's department has asked anyone with information about Sims' whereabouts to contact its missing persons hotline at (323) 890-5500. In addition, tips may be provided anonymously by calling L.A. Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477, or online at LACrimeStoppers.org.
