This week on our show we demonstrated some fun uses for A.I. and considered how it will change our lives, now that it has the ability to make less talented people appear very talented, and less intelligent people appear more intelligent.
A.I. has the ability to write stories, commercials, and nearly anything that calls for creative or technical writing. Students can use A.I. for writing essays and term papers. In this audio, we hear from college professors and rabbis talk about how they are using the new technology - with mixed results.
This week we also saw hyper-realistic pictures of ex-President Donald Trump resisting arrest and finally getting arrested that were created by A.I. The pictures are fake - but show no signs of it. This may be remembered as the first of what is sure to be a near-infinite number of hoaxes that will surely follow - but next time it might not be as obvious.
Imagine all that could be done - for good and evil - with A.I. But while you’re imaging that, also consider that A.I. may already be at work all around you, and you wouldn’t even know it!
