A woman who was being pursued by police for shoplifting tried to ditch the evidence by swallowing it.
Unfortunately for her, she didn't get all of it down in time.
Hollie Bridges, 40, tried to drink as fast as she could after being caught stealing $14 worth of alcoholic cider from a supermarket in Tunbridge Wells, England, according to Kent Online.
A store employee called police and officers gave chase -- eventually catching up with Bridges in a local park.
Although most of the booze was gone, Bridges had enough of it left for cops to pin the crime on her. She was carted off to jail and later charged with shoplifting.
While the incident happened last August, Kent Online reported that Bridges recently admitted to the offense when she went in front of a judge. She's set to be sentenced in March.
