The shapewear brand recently sold for $1.2 billion, and Blakely decided to surprise her employees to celebrate the sale.

A clip of the announcement went viral online of the 50-year-old self-made mogul spinning a globe before telling her employees.

"Why am I spinning a globe?" she asked.

"I'm spinning a globe because to celebrate this moment, I have bought each one of you two first-class tickets to anywhere in the world."

Blakely then continued her announcement to the already flabbergasted employees.

She shared that if they go on a trip, they may need to go out to eat for a nice dinner or stay at a nice hotel, leading into her next gift.

"So, with everybody's two first-class tickets to anywhere in the world, you are each getting $10,000 to spend on your trip," she said, creating a roar from her employees.

Blakely broke the billion-dollar sale last week, and she shared in the video that she "really [wants] every employee to celebrate this moment in their own way and create a memory that will last them a lifetime."
