You better not be kissing your mother with that mouth!

A recent study that compiled and reviewed online posts from all 50 states has found that Texas is the cussing capital of the country, with Texans using an average of .69 curse words per post.

The report was compiled by the online casino research platform BonusFinder.com. It used posts from specific state subreddits to compile its list.

In Texas, the researchers compiled 691 posts, and in them were 4,743 swear words.

Other states that need their mouths washed out include Ohio, which had 6.7 curse words per post, Florida (6.5), Tennessee (6.2), and Missouri (6.1).

While the report examines the use of naughty language online, other studies have found similar results for swearing in person.

Last year, a study from Preply surveyed over 1,500 people living in 30 major cities across the country and found that Columbus, Ohio, was the top swearing city, with residents cursing an average of 36 times per day.

The report found that the average American swears 21 times per day, but over half use substitute words or phrases like “fudge” and “holy cow.”

Overall, BonusFinder found that the most used swear word in America is “sh*t,” which was used 19% of the time across all states. Tied for second were “f***ing” and “f***,” each used 14% of the time.

Now, the only thing needed is a study on how much soap is sold in each state.
