That old Saturday morning lyric leaves a lot to interpretation, but apparently meeting Pope Francis falls under that wide net.
Or web, I guess.
While greeting people in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis found himself approached by a man dressed as the famous Marvel superhero and was graciously received by his holiness.
The man was Mattia Villardita, and he appears to explain his outfit to the leader of the Catholic Church upon approaching.
Villardita visits sick children confined to hospitals dressed as one of their favorite characters, in order to bring smiles to young faces in the direst of circumstances.
