NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The death of a Colorado woman is being investigated by the NYPD after she plunged from the roof of a Times Square hotel Tuesday night.
The body of the 20-year-old woman was found on some scaffolding below the OYO Hotel on West 47th Street in Manhattan around 10:30 p.m., according to police.
Officials said the woman was involved in a dispute with 24-year-old Tyler Griffen inside their hotel room.
Griffen, who is also from Colorado, was taken to Bellevue Hospital for an evaluation and was later charged with reckless endangerment and acting in a manner injurious to a child, cops said.
The two had a 1-year-old boy that was found in their room, police added.
The child was taken to an area hospital but was unharmed, police sources told Pix11.
It remains unclear if the woman fell or was pushed.
An investigation remains ongoing.
