Woman arrested for sharing 'all-you-can-eat' meal at Applebee's

Applebee’s recently brought back their all-you-can-eat appetizer deal, where for $16 you can help yourself to as much wings, riblets, or shrimp that you want.

The key word in that previous sentence is “yourself.”

28-year-old Shawneesha Cobbs recently found herself in handcuffs after purchasing the all-you-can-eat deal, and then distributing some of the items to her friends sitting at the table with her.

Applebee’s management explained that the food was meant for her only, though she allegedly repeatedly told restaurant employee’s that she thought "all-you-can-eat" meant everyone in your group and claimed that the menu didn't specifically say it was "per person."

When the party was presented with the bill, and there were individual charges of $16 for every person at the table, things got ugly.

According to the NW Times, the police were called after Cobbs and her friends refused to cooperate and pay the bill, and police say she was acting “disorderly” and refused to heed their commands.

One of her friends ending up paying the entirety of the bill after Cobbs was placed in handcuffs and arrested.

She’s facing charges of disorderly conduct.
