Heath follows a pair of other Cowboys in defensive tackle Maliek Collins and tight end Jason Witten to the Raiders, reuniting with former Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli in Las Vegas.

After spending seven seasons with the Cowboys as both a starting safety and special teams ace, Heath signs a two-year $8 million deal to do the same with the newly homed Raiders.

In those seven seasons, Heath played in 106 regular-season games, starting 54 and grabbing eight interceptions to go along with 24 passes defended. Heath was also responsible for 346 total tackles and 12 tackles for loss.

The departure of Heath leaves the Dallas secondary even more short-handed and making their needs in the upcoming NFL draft even more apparent on the back end.

Heath is now the sixth Cowboy to leave the team in free agency, joining the aforementioned Collins and Witten, as well as Robert Quinn, Byron Jones, and Randall Cobb.
