WFAN's MLB Insider Jon Heyman reports that the New York Yankees and veteran Chris Iannetta have agreed to a minor-league deal.
Iannetta, who turns 37 in April, played 14 seasons with five teams including the Colorado Rockies (2006-11) and Los Angeles Angels (2012-15).

January 9, 2020 Along with catcher Erik Kratz, he'll provide veteran depth/ competition for Kyle Higashioka as a backup to Gary Sanchez.
He was also the starting catcher for Team USA in the 2009 World Baseball Classic, along with Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann.
