Comedian Bill Burr gave his colorful opinion on CNN anchors this week in his new “Monday Morning Podcast” episode. He called them moronic, America-hating blowhards who secretly covet a second Trump presidency because he is good for their ratings.

“They’re f–king treasonous un-American pieces of s–t,” Burr said when speaking on the news network.
He said in the episode that he could not believe people actually watch the news network as they are “so dumb.”
He launched into his anti-CNN tirade around the 15-minute mark after he brought up getting triggered by his mother-in-law, who babysits his children and always puts it on.
“She always puts on CNN. And do you know what those f–king morons are doing? Do you know what those f–king morons are doing?! They’re f–king talking about Trump,” Burr said.
Burr is now the second star of Disney’s “The Mandalorian” to fuel a political discussion on social media over his opinions.
Gina Carano, who was let go by the company for her opinions, shared a post that compared attacks by left-wing zealots on Hollywood conservatives to the Holocaust. While some found this post to be crazy, Burr defended his then co-star.
“She was an absolute sweetheart,” Burr said. “Super nice f–king person.”
In the podcast, he also said that CNN can’t “bitch about [Biden] because he’s wearing a blue tie.” He also said that they do not care who the president is.
He talked about how the network, in his opinion, has a weird obsession with the former resident because he is good for business. He then said President Biden has not produced the same level of attention his predecessor did.
“It’s like, do you think these people give a f–k who’s president? They want Darth Vader to come back,” Burr said “They want him to come back. Because they had nothing to talk about, because it’s show business, and Joe Biden is a f–king bore.
“So now what do they do? They’re going out there, they’re doing what they did the first time to get this guy [Trump] elected, by giving him all this free coverage, while they act like they allegedly don’t like him. I don’t buy it. I don’t buy it. They are a corporate news channel.”
Some of Burr’s comments are not terribly far off, as CNN’s second-quarter primetime viewership ratings are down 68% year to year. This was the most of any cable news network, The New York Post reported.
There was also a report done by The Washington Times, which showed that CNN lost 45% of its primetime audience in the five weeks after Trump left office.
