Louisiana governor-elect Jeff Landry has assembled his transition team that will focus on New Orleans issues.

The committee is light on elected officials and includes many people who are not New Orleans residents:


-Boysie Bollinger, Chair, businessman and GOP donor.

-Austin Badon, former New Orleans Clerk of First City Court.

-Becket Becnel, trial lawyer and businessman in LaPlace.

-Matt Bowers, car dealer in New Orleans.

-Leon Cannizzaro, former Orleans Parish district attorney, current aide to Landry.

-John Casbon, Police & Justice Foundation founder.

-Jim Cook, GM of Sheraton New Orleans.

-Ayame Dinkler, health care consultant in New Orleans.

-Jamie Dugan, trial lawyer in New Orleans.

-Royce Duplessis, Democratic state senator in New Orleans.

-Rick Farrell, businessman who funded effort to recall Cantrell.

-Paul Flower, businessman who chairs the Business Council of New Orleans and the River Region.

-Ron Forman, Audubon Institute CEO.

-Kelisha Garrett, Chief operating officer and VP of Louisiana Chamber of Commerce.

-Mike Hammer, owner of Pontchartrain Capital, founding board member of Hotel Hope.

-Stan Harris, CEO of Louisiana Restaurant Association.

-Michael Hecht, CEO of GNO Inc.

-Walt Leger, CEO of New Orleans & Company.

-Joe Lopinto, Jefferson Parish Sheriff.

-Jenny Mains, executive at CRC Global Solutions in Kenner.

-Patrick Norton, COO of Tulane University.

-Paul Rainwater, consultant and lobbyist for the city of New Orleans.

-Caroline Reily, registered officer for Aluminum Technologies in New Orleans.

-Laura Rodrigue, attorney, former Orleans prosecutor, lawyer for Cantrell recall campaign, daughter of Leon Cannizzaro.

The committee is set to meet for the first time later this week in Lafayette.
