Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry may be on President-elect Donald Trump's shortlist to be United States Attorney General.
According to a NOLA.com report that cites a New York Post report, Trump is considering naming Landry has his chief law enforcement officer. The report also says Trump is considering Texas attorney general Ken Paxton and Utah Senator Mike Lee to lead the Justice Department.
Landry has previously said he would remain governor if he were asked to join the Trump Administration. We've reached out to Landry's spokesperson for a response.
