NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Former President Donald Trump was booed by some supporters during an event in Texas after he revealed he had received a booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Trump made the disclosure Sunday night in Dallas at a stop on “The History Tour,” which is a live interview show that he has been hosting with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.
According to video posted on social media by O'Reilly's “No Spin News,” the former Fox host told the audience, “Both the President and I are vaxxed.” He then asked Trump, “Did you get the booster?”
“Yes,” Trump answered.

The audience can then be heard breaking out into a chant of boos.
“Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't,” Trump is heard saying, waving his hand at the audience.
“It's a very tiny group over there,” the former president said, while pointing to those making a commotion.
In a longer video shared by “No Spin News” hours later, Trump warned his supporters that they are “playing right into their hands” by dismissing the effectiveness of the vaccine.
“We did something that was historic, we saved tens of millions of lives worldwide. We, together, all of us, not me,” the former president said.
He added that COVID-19 was on track to “ravage the country” and credited the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for preventing many more deaths.
He also encouraged his supporters to “take credit” for the creation of the vaccines, which were helped by the Trump administration’s “Operation Warp Speed.”
“If you don't want to take it, you shouldn't be forced to take it. No mandates,” Trump said in the video. “But take credit, because we saved tens of millions of lives.”
Trump contracted COVID-19 as president and received his first dose of a vaccine out of view of the press just before leaving office.
Trump had told the Wall Street Journal in a September interview that he “probably” wouldn't get a booster shot. It remains unclear when he may have changed his mind.
